so i wrote you snail mail but i thought id send you an email too....
my thought comes from an experience this week. we were out knocking doors and we had the chance to talk to some woman going into her door but she seemed not interested and just walked in. we proceeded to go to her neighbors (and thus crossing by her door) and one of her co-inhabitants jumped out and started screaming "repent ye!" ... literally, jumped out of the door! so while she was screaming, you could hear a dog barking and she just says "get 'em daisy!" (my companion flew about twenty feet because she hates dogs!) and from around the parked car came this little white ball of fluff (smaller than buddy!) with its high pitched bark just yipping at us! i almost died laughing!!!! so we of course turn and walk away with the lady screaming "repent ye" and something about hell. oh, i'll never forget daisy!! :)
read elder whirthlin's talk in the november ensign "come what may and love it"..... apply it to our lives!!! it truly has made this last week in my mission easier (you'll find out why in the letter)
